Need more info, but in general it'll get the positive pressure going around 3K. How much boost are you running? Most see 10psi around 4800-5200. That's dependent on manifold, exhaust, cams, blah, blah, headwork, dirty ******, etc.

tell us you get full boost at 4800 does nothing for us, what psi was that at? On my d16 i made 20psi at 5600 (b16 and d16 have similar spool times)

I would have to say around 4000-4500rpms...reason why I say this is because I was running a t3/t67 h.o. last year on a stock GSR and it hit full boost at 6500rpms and that was a .82 a/r hotside also...that thing hit ******* hard man...lol. traction = NONE lolz!

I used to have a setup similar to that and I was hitting 12lbs about 4500 or so but the car wouldn't really feel strong until it crossed over.

Intercooler size, exhaust size, and intercooler piping as well as timing in the tune can all affect spool time man.

Dang that seems really laggy for that turbo, how much power were you guys making with it. Good thing you guys can rev these honda motors so high. I couldn't live with that power band.

Well, looking at exvtec's sig, I would say around 450whp at 21 lbs lol.

In all honesty, it will matter more who tunes it and the rest of the setup as to what you will make.

On that note, I now run the large SC61 with an E cover and with the tune on the car now, I can spool it quicker than I could my turbonetics .57 trim. It's odd but hey, things happen.

thats not laggy at all, it seems about right for a 1.6L motor

For the power leverl I would expect out of this turbo that just seems like a laggy choice. I'm not saying anything bad about this setup just not my personal taste. I just like my power a little quicker and would have gone with a 2871 or 3071 for this power level.

You do w/what you have.

Gt series turbo's are not $500 bucks brand new...

I don't feel full boost @6k - 9k is a bad powerband? Why would I want boost coming on sooner when my gearing never drops past 6k??
