only stop when the money runs out.

if this were true i'd have stopped about 2 years ago

it does seem pointless at times, it's like the whole woman's self image thing, we are never good enough in our own eyes!!!

Finally I thread that might help me out in my personal life! Ive been plauged by the same questions alot of you guys are facing for the past two years. Three cars ago, I bought a 92 Integra as a daily driver that I vowed would never recieve any sort of modifications. Sure enough, it did, then I moved onto a talon, and now on to my 6th car in total, my Civic. My civic is by far my favourite car Ive owned so far, but as usual I still want to go faster and make more power. Ive been contemplating turboing my ITR motor for a while now, and Ive done the reasearch to do it right the first time. The only thing that stops me is when I look back at my past, and see the gobs of cash Ive dropped in cars, the amount if time Ive missed out on with friends, the over-all comitment to owning and building a car and the amount of parts that Ive broken. This gives me serious doubts about going for it. I raced motocross before I got into cars, and the adrenaline rush carried over and thats why I think I find things so addicting. So for me right now, the question is do I build my car, which I absolutly love, or do I sell it, and buy a bike. The point in my life that Im in currently is a good one. I dont have money problems. I graduated college for Firefighting, and I got a temporary full-time job as a firefighter for a year, and In the meantime, Im trying to get in full time somewhere. I just need some advice from you guys. Share some wisdom and help stear me in the right direction And btw, Im 19yrs old going on 20 this December.

Im in the blue collar world now. Im a banker. And now Im moving up the ladder.well hope hope I'll now by tommorow anyway. I know im still young. Ant...it's all in personal preference. Do what drives your interest. Sometimes it may slack off a bit but then it like it comes right back into effect! I have (have had) alot of experoences. **** man..maried been there now I'm divorced...kids, got em love and will never put anything before them! I have had many opportunities to boost my car and atain higher goels but I felt hey my car is pretty damn fast...why not explore other options! So I bought a bike today! (just coincedence it was the same day yoyu posted this!) I don't know but like i said if you wanna reach higher with your car then go for it...or keep what you have and see what else life has to offer!

I don't think I'll ever be done with my car, but it's not cause it's a integra or a honda for that matter. It's because I'm a car guy. Some guys like to be fast in
a straight line, other like to be fast in the corners, other like to look good. I love
all 3. I just turned 26, bought my 01 GS-R brand new in Jan 2001 and have been
making mods the whole way. I was getting the 3 year itch and was seriously
thinking of leaving honda to drive the new cars, aka, 350z, Sti, Evo. I got to drive
all 3 and even though all 3 are bad *** in some way they just didn't do it for me.
I kept the teg and come november I'm tearing into her for a big turbo project.
I just bought a house in May and My fiance and I are getting married this Sat. Oct.
25th. I drive her absolutely crazy with the car...telling her this is the last thing or No more after this but something always comes up. I'm always telling her if I sell this part and get a good deal here it will cost practically nothing....she rolls her
eyes and says "whatever" and that's that till the next part comes around. I have to
say she has been very supportive with my addiction. I would say the majority of
my friends are car guys but I do have some who can not fathom the relationship
between myself and my car. I tell them it's fun. it's what I love to do, and it's my
hobby. I say hey I can be smoking, drinking, or doing drugs to waste my money
but modding my car is my drug. Sometimes I too wonder is it worth it? But as
soon as someone says "Nice Car" or watch there heads turn when I drive by, or
hitting that apex perfect it becomes priceless. So is it ok to hit your goals and
move on, sure. If you can do it and have no problem with it more power to you.
I know and have accepted I will never be done no matter what car I have or how
old I get, I can't wait to see what lies around the next corner!!

if youre not working on your car youll still be doing something..everyone needs a release..just find one that doesnt require awhole lot of money.. the whole point of working on cars or doing anything for that matter is to give u something to do with your time...whatelse u gonna do if youre not working on cars..sitting around vegetating on your couch watchin tv.
