Are EBC worth that really expensive price? It seems everytime I read on h-t about them, they are just causing problems. Are they just a hassle? What are some of the things you can do with them? Do they cut down on turbo "lag"?

Blitz DSBC all the way.. does everything you would want from a good EBC and its cake to install and setup. The AVC-R yeah its a good piece of equipment too but all you need to do is search this forum to see how many people have had installation and/or setup problems. Plus I have seen posts both here and on clubsi where people have had the displays break and apexi told them to just buy a whole new unit.

i have the avcr-r and never had any problems 
i know a standalone is much better but i use my turbo only on daily street driving and not on the 1/4 mile.
