What is THE best Electronic Boost controller. PERIOD.
Money is no object. This is on an STi with a GT35R 30 pounds of boost with a 44mm TiAL and a UTEC EMS. The UTEC boost control function is "insufficient."
We've been looking at the MRT Rally EBC, Profec-B, Blitz, Apex'i, Turbosmart, TurboXS's lineup. whether it be digital or what not, i don't care, just looking for the BEST option.

Probably Apexi AVCR.
I'm running a Greddy profec type S, works like a charm very happy with it.

I use and recommend the AVCR. I had the AVCD before I had the "R". 2 of my friends have STI's with the AVCR and love it. It takes some getting use to on how to set it. Just read the manual!
There are now a lot more options than when I bought mine. I still like the AVCR. I don't know if it is the "best".

Hey sorry to go a little off topic on this, but I see you have the UTEC EMS. I thought that was kind of like the e-manage and really didn't provide a way to tune maps so to speak. I read the website and it seems just like the GReddy e-manage.

this gets my vote, power enterprises. boost is adjustable on the front of the gauge.

Re: (vaporboy12)
i use the apexi AVCR. really nice unit. takes awhile to get used to it, but it offers the most features that you can later grow into. RPM based boost, gear specific boost, scramble boost are just some of the nice features besides just setting what level boost you want.

Re: (smoovy)
Our shop STi uses a TXS dual stage with the same turbo and WG you have. Its just simple and effective so we use it. Boost logs are literally ruler flat. Best pump gas run is an 11.6@125 so far so you can tell it's working

Innovative msbc-1. that's what i'm rockin it has to be one of the easiest boost controllers to use. timed based boost control, gear based, and a real nice gain feature. I have mine set to 20lbs and the way i had mine setup it would climb up from vacuum to boost like normal then BAM, 2 to 20lbs in the blink of an eye and held fine with a t3/t67 and tial 35mm wastegate.

I did not want to start another thread so I was wondering what is the cheapest most effective boost controller.

TullosTech Electronic Boost Controller
- Closed loop control and we will be adding open loop control to the next hardware update.
- Serial port for data logging, updating firmware, or using the Tuner software to configure the system to your specificaion.
- You can configure just about anything with software
- Next hardware release will have a 2 digit 7 segment LED display with buttons instead of dials.
Still the current version kicks *** for only $115 shipped
