whats the deal with my earl's line and fittings? ish keeps leaking everywhere
i installed my turbo kit awhile back and i noticed that it would leak a little oil every now and then. i jacked my car up and noticed that it is leaking oil from both fittings. so since i had alot of 10an hose, i took the fittings off the hose and reassembled it with a new hose. that **** still leaks.
whenever i floor it, the oil drips all over my downpipe and smoke goes everywhere. it pisses me off.
i'm pretty sure i assembled the line right. i taped the hose where i want to cut it, cut it to desired length, take off tape except for 1 layer. and shoved it into the red piece of the fitting until the bottom of the threads.
i hear that earls does this alot...i dunno. i've heard aeroquip is better, i might just buy some aeroquip fittings if i cant solve this.

AN fittings are compression fittings and shouldnt be used with tape, i normally use teflon paste as an added sealant though, if you overtighten them they can leak too.
