If you could find a union fitting or something like that you could cut the line there and install the fitting.. I wouldnt trust anything else since you know what will happen if the line leaks really bad..

Now that I think about it you could go to home depot or somewhere like that and build a union joiner with barbed fittings.. Im not sure what size your oil feed line is but if you get the correct sized barb fitting and use hose clamps on them you should be fine..

How big is the hole? Just a pinhole? If I was you I'd just put some tape around it until a new one arrives (you did order one right? ) Duct tape wrapped around it nicely would hold back most of the oil I would think.

Errr.... That line is under pressure.. I don't think duct tape will hold it but I might be wrong.. Either way I still wouldn't do it..

OR you could run to an auto parts store and buy a section of "hardline" (used for brakes) and just use that. You can bend it by hand and it cost less than $5

yea, I have some epoxy putty in there right now, used for marine leaks and oil leaks, however the problem with stainless braided hose, is that the braided surface is slightly above the rubber. So if you close the leak, it just moves up the line...I will see how this crap works, if it doesn't..im off to cutting the line and getting some unions.

BTW: i dont have a dremel up at school, what would be the best way of cutting the line??

You can use a set of bolt cutters.. I have used them before and they work pretty good..

Is this feed line for a ls vtec or for a turbo.. Even if you fix it I would still get another one just to be safe..

Talk to Stan(Flamenco-T) on here and he'll fix you up..

same thing happen to me spent all day trying to fix it, i tried some many different stuff on it, epoxy,jb weld, nothing work cause it kept leaking from another side of the braided steel, but was not as bad so it got me home, tomorow i will try the barb fittings inbetween the lines i think thats your best bet also
