There is a large debate and if you search for it I am sure you will find the main thread. If I remember correctly the Skunk2 is helps make lower RPM power and the JG made 7000RPM+ power.

that all depends on what whp you are making. For stock motors littly modified, use a skunk2/AEBS/ITR. 400+ use a JG or any other sheetmetal brands.

was told tho,that if i get a jg manifold it would sit way lower and my intercooler pipes wont fit.

If your not making 400+ and plan on reving it past 8000rpm, then don't worry about the JG, and if your not going to rev it to 9000rpm forget any brands of sheetmetal intakes These are your only options (skunk2/AEBS/ITR) and it boils down to personal perference. Hp gains between the 3 are minimal.

Hey that brings me to this question. Now, for me i wanna run 280-300whp daily and 400whp for fun once in a while. Would you say that the Skunk 2 manifold would hold up good to 400whp? I know the Edelbrock would yield a litlte more power but, im not worried about 5 or so. I figure Skunk2 because dialy at 300whp, and stock 8200 rev limit, the Edelbrock isnt really getting put to use. It will out flow all around though. I may only increase the revlimit to 8700. And thats it. only because CTR cams.

Skunk 2 -- seems best all around for 300-350whp.
JE <--cant go wrong, but may have a little loss in power in the lower rpms.
let me know what you think. Skunk 2 would make life easier with the IC piping.
