Newly boosted need input
ok so some of you know am now boosted...as seen in other post
https://honda-tech.com/zero...61698
i got some issue though..
here it is
i have a hks gt2510 running 5 psi(basically a garret t25 nissan style with 48ar hot side and 60ar cold side)
fuel setup is vortech fmu 12:1 disc(atleast thats what the guy said that sold it to me)
missing link map bypass
distributor timing 8 degrees
91 octane intank
190gph fuel pump
no CELs
when partial throttle creating boost it bucks and hesitates pretty good
but it gets boost. so thats not the issue, its a smooth spool from the turbo...as far as the gauge shows...which i beleive.
im thinking its the sparkplugs, there the same as my na days.. didnt have the right ones...but since im 5psi i didnt think that would make that much a difference.
i have no inline fuel pump, but i think it will be ok with the higher rate fuel pump i have....but i do have a 255gph fuel pump that i was gona throw in.
so whats the ideas, i want to get it to spool smooth and the car not to hesitate and buck....cause it doesnt feel right.

Re: Newly boosted need input (pornstarSR)
you dont need to turn your timing all the way to 8 degrees.. try this rule of thumb... for ever 2 psi go back 1 degree
