Default what is your oil temp?

I have hooked up my Greddy oil temp sensor via the sandwitch plate and during town driving it is about 85 C, 160kph runs 100 C and 180kph + runs 110C

I think it is too high.....I will remove the thermostate on my oil cooler. I have heard oil is best when it has about 80 degs, cause our pistoons are cooled by engine oil too.

Default Re: what is your oil temp? (austrian type-R)

When I had an oil cooler, temps were a rock steady 79 C. When I took it out temps fluctuated between 107-112 C.
