Re: oil temp? (realis9)
My oil temp could not get over 110 degree if the car is moving, but if it stop for a long time like stop and go traffic it get up to 190 degree. Get a autometer oil temp and install it to find out for sure in your car.

Where did you put the sensor my on the oil pan but 200 degree is ok but just run a oil cooler or buy fully synthetic oil like Mobil one if you think it to high of temp, or both to be on the safe side. I got a B&M oil cooler off from JEGS and my oil will not heat up so I have to take it off but in traffic even with the oil cooler I still reach oil temp to 180 to 210 temp, then If the car move the oil cooler help it alot I will see the temp drop fast back to 105 degree.

yeah you guys need to remember that oil has to be a certain temperature to lubricate properly also. That's why you should run a thermostat in conjunction with the oil cooler
