Default What is wrong with this oil return line?

Some reason now oil is coming out by the oil return line from the turbo part. It never did it when I put the kit on. I had a wreck with it ,but I doubt it ruined the seals. Hope the picture will help. Tell me your opinion please!!

make sure that the oil bung (the part that goes in the pan) is the lowest part. dont let it sag then come back up. Also, maybe get a gasket in there?

Would it make that oil spew back out of there? I had a shop take my downpipe off to weld a bung into it and they never told me about any oil in there. So I do not think it is the seals giving away.

I don't think he is talking about internal gaskets, just a gasket on the part where the line blots to the turbo.

between where those two bolts are and the turbo. No I do not have gasket that i know of. I bought this kit used. It was not abused though. It was fine in my civic. Now I put it on my teg this starts. Think I just need to put a gasket up there or a new one?

to me, that oil return line looks kinda small. I use a -10 line on mine. maybe the oil is backing up for some reason. just a thought.

It is a -8 return line. My friend reccomended me to get it. I going to try to get that liquid gasket stuff. Hope that solves my problem. I wonder is that causing my white smoke to come out the exhaust? I will get on it ,then left off white smoke or bluish whitesh smoke comes out my exhaust. Is it this or piston rings?

when you guys talk of liquid gasket, is it that high temp silicone stuff. Is that what the rtv stuff is?

RTV is just a high temperature liquid silicone gasket maker. You'll see them at any auto parts stores or even walmarts. they are in a tooth paste like tube, one will say "RTV" it's orangish copper I believe.
