Like the title says, im running a t3/t4 .57 setup right now and im looking for a smaller turbo that spools faster. Im not sure what I can get that will fit onto my manifold/downpipe. I would like to not have to swap any of that stuff around.

Ive tried doing research on the subject and I cant really come up with much. I would really appreciate if anyone has already been through this and knows what I can look at. Im thinking of like factory turbos from another car possibly?

T3 super 60 could work but I don't think it will hold to redline. U might catch some fade. Any t3 will fit ur manifold. Downpipe is different u would have to get a new flange atleast

 

thanks thats what I was figuring that the t3 would bolt up, but the downpipe would need to be changed. I was a bit worried about a crappy powerband as well. My main use of the car is weekend fun runs, and well hitting full boost toward the end of the power band makes it hard to have any fun and keep it within a reasonable amount of not speeding lmao.

 

I was looking at some super 60's and the DP side looks pretty damn similar to the one from the t3/t4 but I think its a tad different.. Im having a problem finding a different DP or a flange because everytime I search t3 downpipe all that comes up is a ton of t3/t4 stuff ><

 

What is your engine setup? what is your budget for another turbocharger? what flange do you currently have for the downpipe? T31 (4 bolt) or Ford style 5 bolt? That makes a difference in your choices and what's available. The more info ou give us, the better we can help you.

 

budget... well its pretty tight right now like $4-600 my downpipe side is the ford style 5 bolt and the super60 I was looking at was a garrett off a mustang, but the flange shape seemed to look a little different so I wasnt sure if it would fit.

 

have u thought about maybe changing either the comp or exh wheels,its a cheaper option and mite even work out better for you

For your budget, I would look for a used Super 60 or T3 60 trim(slightly smaller than Super 60).

 

well hmm thats an idea too I havent thought of.

yeah I was checking into those for the most part.

 

I had a tdo4 on my d16 which yes it is smaller then t3 60 trim butt didnt hold boost to redline. I wouldn't expect a t3 to hold well either. A super 60 will work and i think it comes in .63 or .48.
