Default What Turbo ?

Im trying to built my car for the summer and i don't know what turbo to go with?
Here are my choises....

Turbonetics...

V trim stage 2 .48
H trim stage 2 .63
60-1 trim stage 3 .63
60-1 trim stage 5 .63

It's an LS with Srp pistons 9:1,Eagle Rods,Crower Cams,Etc...
I want 300WHP... I also would like to know what downpipe to get 2.5" or 3"?
The car is going to be a weekend driver.Im also aiming for the 12's in the 1/4.

none of those are really great options...why are you buying a Turbonetics kit?? You could get a better setup from the Sponsors Marketplace for about the same price. Also 3" dp would be best.

If you are on a budget:
Look into a t3/t4oe 50trim .48 a/r

If you're ballin out of control:
look into theGT28RS 'disco potato'

.63 ar would be much better, .48 is kinda small, this guy has a built motor so he has a lot of power potential, i'd say go with a .63 for sure if you get a t3tO4e, if your revving it to 8200+ then you might even benefit from a .82 but it might kill a few hundered rpms of spool time.

Im not going to be reving it to 8200+. i problaly rev it max to 7200 or 7400. im going to boost 15 max pounds maybe 17 no more than that. 60-1. 63 A/R Stage 3 or stage 5????????

i think a 60-1 might be a little too big, thats a 500hp turbo, id use a t3/tO4e 57 trim .63 ar. there usually good for up to 450. either way isent bad though. you can even use a smaller turbo if you want but since you have a built motor you might end up cranking up the boost. thats usually what happens.

.82 on a 50trrim, are we talking about the same turbo? but in my opinion the .48 would spool up faster and is in his efficiency range, It may not make as much peak HP but it will be a better street turbo.

Why do you not think the .63 will hold up to 9k? I'm running a t3/t4oe 57trim .63.. I plan to take it to 9k? I'm not saying your wrong, I just want to know what youre basing it off of.. because if you are right I may need to upgrade my turbo
