Default turbine housing trims? stage or numbers?

I got this from http://www.turbonetics.com . I want to get an GT30 ball bearing turbo T3/T04e .63 a/r 84 trim with 60 a/r 52 trim *50lph* from cheapturbos.com . But what is stage II, III and standard trim? IS this a new (seperate) spec or is it just the same like 84trim on the hot side? If it is bigger nummer = more lag with more top end right?

AR TRIM

.63 STANDARD
.63 STAGE II
.63 STAGE III

btw: I want to know the exact specs of my DRAG III turbo I have, I only know it has .63 ar and .54 ar T3/T04e hybrid, but what are the trims and the stages of this turbo?

The stage II and Stage III come from the T31 family of turbines.
T31 family of turbines:
.69 trim= stage 2 turbine
.76 trim = Stage 3 turbine.

The stage 5 comes from a different family, the T350.
.76 Trim T350 = Stage IV.

Hope this helps.

The 84 is a GT turbine, I think.

Your .54 is your compressor trim.

thanks man, you are always helpful

Every time I know more it is getting harder to deceide
what is better: to have an .82 a/r and an T04e (52 or 56 trim) or an .63 a/r with an T04s housing (52 or 56 trim). Which style of those 4 will spool better and which one will responde better..(all turbos with that 84 trim)...can you list them up 1 - 4?
