What transmission to run? (gsr or LS?)
Hey guys im getting ready to finish my turbo build. i have a B16 sleeved. pushing 450-500hp. What would you recommend or are you running with your set-up? I Am having a tough time choosing between a GSR transmission or an LS. I feel that an LS would be to long of gears, even though i have a boosted motor that might make up for the long gears. Of coures i want to use the best gearing trans, as i will be getting an LSD for it also.....

gsr gets my vote too. i currently have a ls tranny and gearing does feel slow. i'm only pushing out 250hp 225tq so maybe thats why. not strong enough to run a ls tranny.
oh lsd is a plus. i wish i had it so bad.

gsr tranny best all around i agree. even on the highway at 80 its not too bad. ls gears are kinda long, especially if you track it and throw some 24"+ tires on there
