What should I expect?
Just had my GSR block bored to 84mm and sleeved with Darton MID sleeves. I also had my crank polished and rebuilt with CP 9:1 pistons and Eagle H beam rods. My head is stock still, but I am in the process of building that as well. I have a turbonetics kit with a t3/t4 57trim turbo. 2.5in dp and 2.5in exhaust, misc bolt ons and new belts and all that. I'm running Hondata s2b and I want to know what i should expect with this setup without my head built. What numbers would you be happy with at 10psi?

Every setup will perform differently, and tuning has alot to do with what kind of numbers you will get. That's pretty much why you got the reply above (lol).
Anyways, I see you got a block that's ready for boost but I wouldnt go crazy with it just yet. Wait until you're head is at least mildly built (valves/springs/retainers) because a valve dropping could really F up your setup.

On 10psi, I don't really see you being around 300 give or take some (but I'd lean toward the lower end). Why only 10psi? That turbo really comes alive around 18-20.

I basically had something very similar to your setup on my last build. It made 375@14.5psi The new build made 372@15.7psi and numbers for 20psi are coming on friday. But yea I would definitely run more than 10psi because you'd be selling yourself short since your block is built.

Re: What should I expect? (Dunc)
I'm currently tuned to 10psi and waiting for my 3 bar map sensor to come. The numbers were not what I expected at all, 245whp and 197wtq. I'm upset after spending 3gs on my block. This tune, however, was on a Mustang dyno.
My seals are going on the turbo and it is being replaced for next year. My clutch is on the way out the door too.
Has anyone ever heard of something that lowers the oil pressure to the turbo? My buddy was telling me that my seals could being going because of the amount of pressure. The turbo is only a year old.

Turbo: What size feed line do you have? If it's a -4AN then try an oil restrictor. If it's a -3AN line then it "should" be fine.
Power: Actually, that is about right for the power at 10psi for that turbo. If you think about it, just because the block is built doesn't mean it would make power increases at 10psi still. You could make 245@10psi on a stock block or a block worth $100,000. But since it is built now, you should turn the boost up. On pump gas go with like 18psi on your turbo....that's what I'll be tuning for on Friday and it should be around 400whp. Just replace the seals if they are going out, get the clutch in there is tune for 18psi. You'll be much happier and it should give you what you expect.

I think my project is on hold for the winter due to turbo seals, clutch and map sensors. I think I'm going to upgrade the turbo anyways, so I think I'll just wait till spring for more tuning.
