Hey guys, i'm wondering what heat range plug i should be running in my boosted b16b. The spec is : B16B stock internals with 9.2:1 c/r (ITR pistons), garret t3 turbo and i'm looking to run around 300bhp.

I'm debating whether to run a 7 or 8 heat range plug, i'm more thinking the 8's to be honest though....

Stock are 7's though ? ?

 

NGK stock # 4091's and youll be set sir.

 

7's are fine for that whp goal. i prefer 4644 since its a resistor plug.

 

The colder the plugs usually the better, I got ngk 8's in my car gapped to .22

 

i have 7's gapped to .30

 

i have 7's gapped to .20

 

^ wow, thats a big gap.. if it works for ya. Im usually a .20 guy myself..

 

I am using 7's and gapped to .25
