Did adding a turbo impact the coldness of your air conditioner? Is the air still cold?

I could imagine if the turbo was too close to the a/c condenser it would make the a/c not work as well. I have seen videos on youtube with cars boosting on the dyno and the exhaust manifold/turbo unit getting cherry red.

I've also seen some negative effects of the "coldness" of air conditioning of a turbocharged vehicle, especially when the turbocharger is retrofitted to a car that was not originally equipped with one. Depending upon the configuration of the setup, it is very easy for a the turbocharger manifold or turbocharger's exigent heat could lower the compressor's impact to cool charged air from the condenser, or the condensor would be heat soaked to where the compressor would work harder to cool that air that wasn't cooled. But it depends upon the configuration of the turbo setup. Its entirely feasible, but it happens over time.

yes ive seen quite a few setups where the ac doesnt work as efficiently due to the high engine bay temperatures associated with turbocharging.. the ac fan etc cant keep up and will reduce the efficiency of the air conditioning
if you insist on running an a/c compatible kit i recommend getting the manifold coated, a turbo blanket, exhaust wrap and upgrade the ac fan

Hmm my engine bay is smoldering hot and my AC still blows ice cold and I don't have a condensor fan anymore?
I have my manifold coated, turbo, and downpipe from Full-Race (HUGE waste of money and is flaking off), so that's not really even doing anything.
Just wrap your AC lines in thermal shielding and you'll be ok.

your condenser is further forward in the car than on civics, which is basically sitting right in front of the manifold.
