What pistons\rods for JRSC 6psi?
Im about to get a JRSC with only the 6psi kit cause i dont really want anymore than that right now. Im gunna be strapping it onto my JDM GSR engine with its 10.6:1 comp ratio. Do i want a sub 10:1 comp ratio with a SC? I have the engine COMPLETELY stripped down to its bare bones so i want to replace the pistons and rods while im ni there. What would be the best economy\quality piston\rods to get. Keep in mind I will only be running 6 psi, maybe 8 down the road, and no NOS or any bull like that and this will be 100% daily driven. Thanks fellas. Im new to the whole FI scene and need as much help as possible.

no one has a suggestion?? Is it bad to have high comp ratio with a SC'r? I know it is with turbo but didnt knwo if supercharging was any different.

your compression should be fine. i would stick with the compression you have. Get yourself eagle rods and some endyn rw's, je, arias, etc. But the bang for the buck are the RW's

Re: What pistons\rods for JRSC 6psi? (VaporTrail)
Yes, at 6 PSI the stock rods and pistons should be fine....even at 8 PSI. Hondata would be a great investment. The components of the engine can handle the boost, assuming proper tuning. Thats where the Hondata comes in. It can essentially make your can run like it was supercharged from the factory. Reliability is incredible, it will free up a good amount of HP, and it is supposably easy to work with.
Check out this site: http://www.hostboard.com
Then go to "cars, hotrods, trucks"
Then "forced induction integras"
That is the largest forum for JRSC users. There are a few hybrid JRSC users on there, one pushing 10 PSI I think. They should be able to advise you well.
