CR JRSC D16
Hi guys,
I'm building a Honda Civic RTSi as my daily bitch.
The car is a Civic EG real time 4wd sedan with a D16z5 engine in it.
It's the same engine wich was installed in the CRX ED9 here in europe.
It's a D16 DOHC with 124hp.
I think it's similar to the D16A9 here in the USA.
Now my questions.
I bought a D16 JRSC wich i will run with around 6psi I think.
I also bought some NipponRacing D16zc pistons and SCAT rods.
I'm not sure what CR i will reach with a 0.030in COMETIC head gasket and if I can run it with the JRSC.
Please let met know something about it.
Thanks

here is a calc that will help

just remmber what JRSC like
Optimum: 10.5:1
Suitable: 9.5 - 11:1
Compression ratios from 9.5 - 11 : 1 are suitable for a blown application (depending on fuel and tuning).
Lower compression will allow higher boost levels, but the JRSC is boost limited to under 1 bar (14.7psi).
As such build the motor as high as can be safely tuned. In my opinion this is ~10.5:1.
