The missing link is a commonly used hack that prevents the ECU from seeing boost. The ECU will throw a code if the MAP sensor reports any positive pressure (ie, boost) in the system.

i had a missing link, took it off, and i don't throw any cel's. i run 7 psi. anyone know why its not throwing a code for he positive pressure?
