a missing link is so that the ecu doesnt see boost and throw a code it goes in place of the Mass Air sensor on the throttle body. you can buy them on ebay they arnt that much or you could find one on here thats used

Wrong...it goes between intake manifold vaccum and your MAP ( Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor....

sorry I meant map sensor but it is on the throttle body and it is so the ecu doesnt see boost
