Default What to look for when buying a used JRSC?

I was just wanting some pointers on what I should look for when buying a used Jackson Racing Supercharger. I never bought or owned one before so I don't know what all I should look for or what all the kit should come with. It is for a GSR. TIA

are you buying over the net or in person? If in person look at the interior of the supercharger. make sure the blades are not chipped at the edges. Some fine lines may exist on the edges, thats kind of normal and just means some small debri may have passed through the blades. also check the needle bearings for discoloration due to excess heat and overspinning. The coating on the blades should still be in tact and the blower should spin fairly easy by hand and be free of any clunking noises. The shaft attaching the blower pulley shouldn't have any play and also examine the nose of the pulley for any traces of oil leakage. thats all i can think of for now

Thanks, I am buying in person. Can you see the needle bearings without tearing anything apart?
