What is Lambda?
Im thinking of buying a Zeitronix wide band O2. It says that it monitors Lambda. I want to know what that is. I did a search and found.

So im guessing that it is narow band O2 for the ECU. But I want to make sure. Thanks

Lambda is the same thing as air fuel, it just uses a different table. I don't have the conversion handy but, it just needs a scale factor.

Lambda is a percentage of Stoich for any fuel. 1 lambda = 14.7 a/f ratio for gas.
ex. .80 lambda = 11.76 a/f ratio
.85 lambda = 12.49 a/f ratio
1 lambda = 6.7 (i think
) a/f ratio for methanol
.80 lambda = 5.36 a/f ratio for methanol.
