o2 simulator

how does an o2 simulator work... and how is it hooked up? i was told ECG O2 Sim. was the best...

the electrical reading is based upon resistance.

the 02 sim simply alters the reading to acceptable levels.

Exactly, its just based on resistance. You can make your own, I came across something on google once. Search on there one time.

I always thought it was based on voltage. The simulator I saw was an oscillator which provided a signal that crossed thru 500mv often enough that the ECU thought the sensor was working.
