the pr3 (type r and b16) heads flow better than the p72 (gsr) heads. The Type R head and the B16 head are bascially the same except the Type R head comes with a factory mild port and polish. So depending on the extent of the port and polish of the b16 head, if it's more than the Type R head, go with it. If it's the same it doesn't really matter cuz they'd be identical. Either way use the Type R valve train (cams, valve springs, retainers) unless you plan on going aftermarket with those.

both the gsr and pr3 castings flow about the same amount of air, i would use whichever head has the best port and polish job, or sell them 3 of them and send one to get it ported and have the chambers opened up to 84mm to match your bore
in the end they will all flow great and im assuming you will use a victor X or similar manifold so its not all that much of a difference

Greg Sumaroo stated that with the lower head volume in the GSR head, he finds that it works well with dished pistons in FI applications whereas the ITR head's larger head volume works well in N/A high hp motors using domed pistons that fill in the volume.
