What does the knock sensor look like, in this picture.
Okay, need some help here as my knowledge isn't that great about this sensor. I'm getting no reading from this sensor now and want to check up on it. I'll have to feel for it from below but I'm not sure which is the Knock sensor. Is it the one above the oil filter and the pipe or is it the one directly to the left of the oil filter? This picture isn't of my car obviously but its useful for what I'm trying to talk about. TIA

Re: What does the knock sensor look like, in this picture. (Black-LS)
are all B-series knock sensors interchangable? I was thinking to save a few bucks buying one from a Honda motor dealership? Or is there a better alternative/aftermarket KS I should get that doesn't cost a arm and a leg? Is the one in C-speedracing's website (http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/lsvtec/lsvtec.php) a stock KS? Which model Honda would have the cheapest price for a KS from a dealership? TIA again

all should be the same, there are only a few cars mostly with VTEC that will have it...B16, B18C and etc...they're all interchangeable

If it was me, i'd get a single cam ecu chiped so you didnt have to run a knock sensor.

yes the gray plug is the knock sensor and its 140 at an acura dealer list price...
The green is the coolant temp sensor which on some motors is on the side not the back....both those plugs will plug into the knock sensor and its common for them to be accidentaly switched
