considering its co2 controlled i dont see it working too well on the street unless you have a large bottle of co2.... say a 15lb bottle

Re: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF NLR AMS-1000 MULTI CHANNEL BOOST CONTROLLER (wantboost)
it can be used with manifold pressure with the same results.ALot of street guys using it that way. A 1-2 pd bottle will last a while as well on a drag application. Most of the drag guys dont even use a bottle that big as you dont go thru that much c02. The benefit with the co2 is that you dont have to wait for manifold pressure to build up to increase boost.

Re: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF NLR AMS-1000 MULTI CHANNEL BOOST CONTROLLER (NLR)
i thought the co2 would be for the guys running really hi boost numbers 40lbs+. how much of a differance would it be using the manifold pressure than the co2. ill be running 35 the most and that is pushing it.

Re: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF NLR AMS-1000 MULTI CHANNEL BOOST CONTROLLER (dome)
in a setup where your backpressure is more than boost pressure you need c02. Also a c02 setup can respond faster. It has many other benefits as well. Manifold pressure is fine for a street application. You can always set it up for both if needed.peice of cake!

It depends how low you want to get the boost. If you want to be able to run 6psi, and 35psi, then it will probably take co2 to do it. If you run a 15lb spring in the gate, then you'll probably be able to get 35psi w/o co2. All comes down to manifold design and backpressure.
