What do you think about this setup? (Budget)
Ok here is what I plan to go with and some of the prices I found off Ebay and a few other used car part places, as well as jcwhitney and home depot. Tell me what you think.
B series Manifold- $200-$300 (revhard or drag)
intercooler-$200-$300 (thepartstrader.com)
t3 turbo-$150-$200 (Garret or AIResearch)
Downpipe w/o flex pipe=$100-$200 (Ebay)
Blow off valve-$100-$150 (any really)
Missing Link MAP Bypass-$50
Silicon Hoses-$30 (Home Depot)
Oil feed/return lines+ oil pan tap nipple-$50 (Home Depot)
charge pipes-$70 (www.jcwhitney.com)
wastegate-$100 (Ebay)
FMU=$80-100 (thepartstrader.com)
Total= $1130-$1550
Is there anything missing? Am I getting decent prices? I plan on running 8psi on my stock LS motor and plan on running a compression test to make sure everything is running fine. Thanks for your info.

Like I said above, the car has an LS motor.

Like I said in the first post, it's going to be running 8psi, with a vortech FMU, so injectors are not required. I also put $100 for the wastegate too, so it's not internal. But thanks for the BOV tip, that'll definately help my budget.
Oh and the couplers are included as the item- silicon hoses, which will cost around $30-$35

You don't want to use the home depot rubber hose, it'll blow right off, especially if you use it to hold the charge pipe to the turbo. And if you tighten it down really tight, it'll rip.
http://www.johnnyracecar.com for a nice intercooler
You should get a nice Walbro intank fuel pump if you're gonna run 8 PSI. You can get it for around $100

Re: What do you think about this setup? (CRV Monster)
Where should I get the hoses from? If possible I would like to get them in black, or anything that just looks stock. Thanks for the advice.

Your avatar is kinda creepy...whats Ronald doing? Looks like hes gonna hit that chick IDB. I think you have a pretty good budget setup, I'd definitely do the walboro internal fuel pump. The fmu will make it real rich, maybe you could upgrade the fuel management system and make some real power down the line.

Yeah the FMU has always what I have never wanted to have in my car but for what it's worth I think it's a decent place to start. Thanks for your info though, good stuff

Re: What do you think about this setup? (TeStUdO)
I would do this:
Buy a turbo with an internal wastegate.
you save $100
Dont buy the Map bypass
you save $50
buy a used hondata blue box that should be well worth the extra horsepower, peace of mind and extra room to grow on.

Re: What do you think about this setup? (S03Burner)
I just watched "IT" last night and had a few good laughs with my clown buddies so I'm kinda crazy right now AHHAAHA. Beep Beep RICHIE!
Anyways, what exactly is a hondata blue box? I was thinking about a 2b when I thought I had money but now i'm confused. I wanted to stay clear of that for now because of the OBDII-->OBDI harness and the ECU, which means too much money than I can afford for now.
--unrelated--
anyone know where a vacuum leak is likely to occur on a GSR w/ skunk 2 IM and JG throttle body? revving idle---

Re: What do you think about this setup? (cdog19)
here's my 2 cents:
The Home Depot Hose connectors won't relly work, they're made out of soft rubber, I found cuts in my 3 times already. (less than 4 PSI). Pay alittle more and get the good stuff, it will save you money in the long run and headaches.
there's a company in here in VA that makes Custom Intercoolers, I paid $300 for mine (31x6x3), All hand made (except the core), the advantage of getting from him is you'd get a new one.
