I remember DrealGSR saying something about the 7bladed compressor wheels have a smaller trim...
WIll I be struggly with this turbo on an Ls/vtec(fully built)?
Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...247873&r=0&t=0
SHOULD I GO FOR IT? It will need a t4 flange on the manifold right?

Damn .. I can't see it because ebay is blocked!! Actually what I said was the 7blade 7 splitter T04B compressors spools faster but can not flow as much volume as the T04E. As long as it meets your HP and pocket money requirements and doesn't cost much it will be a good purchase. I'll look at the link when I get home tonight!

look at that nasty ex blade! That thing has to have a blown oil seal on the ex side. The rust doesn't matter since it can be knocked of in 30 secs with a sand/bead blaster. You might want to let this one go but atleast try asking about the OILY ex blade! That's also an on-center T4 housing there! If you aren't gonna see lots of track duty this is not the turbo for you. The biggest T4 housing you want on a streetable 2.0 liter or below 4cylinder is an AR.58 with the AR.50 or HKS AR.40 being better choices.
SO if you buy it you will need a rebuild kit for the seals and a T3 housing and blade if you want to make a T4/T3. For the price of those parts you might as wheel just buy a new one that comes with a limited warranty.
Tell the seller the AR for the compressor is stamped inside of the outlet tube to the IC and the ex AR is stamped inside of the inlet by the flange.
