Default Need help on turbo selection

I know the sizing on garrets,

but I dont know a damn thing about holsets or borgs.

So my goal is 600whp,

and I was thinking of getting a 35r with a 1.06 T4 divided housing.

But im curious as the what other turbo's out there can reach this goal?

(without being rediculously big in size, im planning to try and keep my AC)

I need the keep the turbo as physically small as possible (not a small turbo, but just not like a 42r where its bigger than my motor)

My manifold that I am getting can either be a T3 devided, or T4 devided, so I am just wondering what would be best. I dont plan on every going for more than 600, so lets not worry about too much headroom, but I also dont want the turbo to choke.

Some research tells me the s362 is good for that? but how is the physical size of it?

stick with the t3.. as for turbo.. the s362 and gt35r are similar. you could go with either of them. i would also tell you theres no need for the 1.06a/r, .82 will be fine. the size of the s362 is basically the same as gt35.. you have to just get one and be done.. your not going to find a small overall turbo and make the power you want. with keeping ac you will need to get a ac compatible ramhorn or w/e manifold you plan on getting.

if you would list your setup/motor specs parts we could tell you alot more about what to get and use. not saying you cant use the 1.06 t4.. be easier if you list your setup so everyone can give you input.

devided is baller,

plus if im getting it all built from scratch, I mayaswell do it right? I read that the benefits of devided vs non devided were huge.

Well the setup is going to be a built 2 litre with b16 head, gonna try and use ITR cams, but if not il go to the pro 1's

Not at those sizes with that sized exhaust wheel, you will not at all get the results you think you will Read sig. For the response you want, stay T3, 61mm-62mm in either the Garrett GT35XX (either R or S journal/ball-bearing) series or Borg-Warner S362

manifold design will have a lot to do with your results but my divided t4 gt35r spools up as fast as my old t3 .82 gt30r on a very similar motor and makes great power 508whp at 17psi on pump gas.

id go with a divided t4 because it will give you room to grow for a larger setup and i think you will be more than happy with the response out of this housing unlike what most people will say here.

I am going for similar power range and I originally was gonna go with the 35r but after lots of research and reading I've decided to go with the Precision sc62 a.k.a billet 62/65. You should look into it.
