What do you guys think? or

Anyone have any pictures of how to brace the ramhorn manifold to the motor? worried about it cracking.

You don't brace the manifold, you brace the turbo.

Anyone have pics of bracing the turbo? just need some ideas and ill fab one up.

you can compare it to mine. bone stock gsr too with a 30r on ssautocrap manifold. 8lbs and 2 1/4 catback.

I think it spools way too slow for 284whp. The turbo itself spools okay, but that's a 450whp-capible turbo. Reminds me of the 'special' kid in class trying a square peg in a round hole - turbo doesn't match the motor.

I assume you just had issues and are going to get it retuned at ~25psi on pump gas tomorrow/next week or something? If not, trade that turbo for a 60trim T3 (stg3 .63ar if you can), a 2.5bar map & a gear-based boost controller - you'll be much happier & can still get more HP out of it.

Well its all stock. Do you guys recommend i should change the intake manifold if so to what? What are ways to make it spool faster if i build my motor would that make it spool faster?

whats your vtec xover rpm?


its not really the spool i think its the vtec. you might be spooling it up fine but your motor isnt gonna let all that air in very well until vtec
