ok, I have a limited amount of money to work with here so i need some good opinions on what to do with $2000 and less.
BTW, i have a b16a in a stripped 90 civic hatch dx. i have hondata stage 4bd, and soon a stock lsd to be installed and basic suspension mods.

I want a turbo due to its efficiency over the sc, but the sc i can get alot cheaper and then build internals next year. I plan on drag racing and doing autox. sc is better at autox, but the turbo should be better in the drag strips. turbo will prolly cost around 2500 to get all the things i need for it while the sc i can get used with extra pullies for 1200-1800.

should i save for the turbo a bit longer. or go with the sc, and have a few bucks left over for next year to build up internals?

I would just get the turbo and run stock internals until you can afford a buildup. Since you have hondata already you could run about 10 psi on stock internals....

hrmm, i was thining 12 lbs, but 10 still sounds good, lol.

so i got 1 vote for the turbo. anyone else???? i have a feeling the turbo will win this race

i know people hate these types of questions, but help me out please. more opinions the better i feel about my final choice.. thanks

EDIT: another factor that might need ot be considered is that i have an s1 tranny (very short geared) not exactly good for a turbo charger.
