boost spike is caused the wg to inefficiently get rid of the exhaust gas in timely manner. This will lead to the turbo hitting a set level then going up and down rather than stuck at a certain point. It also with a poorly deisgned manfiold with bad wg placement could cause the spikes. No matter what controller you have it cannot be corrected.

look at youur pressure source to the wg nipple. i would try different vaccume sources to see which one works the best. Try running a vaccum line from the intake manfiold to the wg and see how it works

im having the same problem on my freinds sr20det powered 240..he's also using a profec b spec II...well drive up and down the freeways and finally get it so that it doesnt spike and its consistent..than stop to get something to eat or turn off his car and its back to crappy....make sure your start boost isnt too close to your set boost..and your gain isnt too high either...make your start boost the lowest your wg spring will let it...than adjust the set boost(the %)...only adjust 1 thing at a time in 1-2 increments at a time...

i had the EXACT same problem , id adjust it to where i want it , good to go , then stop boosting or stop the car for whatever reason , try to boost and it would suck ***** again.

target boost is 8.0 lbs

start gain 7.0 lbs
pressure is 9 or 10 i believe ill have to check
and gain is like 83%!!!! and thats the best i can get it . when the gain is lower boost falls off and spikes its wack as hell
