Default sleave question?

If my sleaves are perfectly fine, but my block leaks oil into the water jackets. can I have my sleave pressed out of one block and into another?

Even if it is the gasket, can you re-use sleaves? I have been wondering.

If they are stock sleeves its not worth it. But I don't think that you can re-use them if they are aftermarket.

if the sleeves are ge they cannot be really transferred but you can send the block back to GE and get them to sort it out. It should not leak at all Vince is good about thatits could possibly just needs to be decked even and ne wgasket

If you had Dartons you could. Im sure you could send it back and get *** raped by GEM and they will re-sleeve another block for you. But, my question is this. Is it possible there is a defect in the sleeving and is that why you have oil in your coolant? Hmm, sounds like a dropped sleeve. If you want more info on headaches like this contact member Boostfed here on h-t.......he'll tell you lots about GEM blocks and his experiences with them.
Then again it could just be a headgasket problem, who am I to know
