Default what about torque?,no one talks about it,lets discuss!

im bosting my jdm h22a 91accord with a t3/t4 turbo i wanted to know what are some of the effective ways of increasing my torque, which no one talks about.the reason why im asking is because i want my whp to be 92-100% of my torque.so that my acc can use the whp power more effeciently.

What about torque? Hp : how much torque and how fast.

Turn up your boost and retune.

Exactly.

Us FWD honda guys with dinky tires don't have the best traction for a **** ton of torque (even with an LSD, suspension, drag radials, etc..), so that's why we don't talk about it.

Plus, your talking about getting torque out of a relatively small 4 cylinder engine.................from what ive seen, you should be happy if your torque numbers on a high horsepower honda are about 100 points away from your HP numbers.

If you want lots of torque, your gonna have to change your approach.

our 4 bangers are light, fast reving, small displacement motors. what gets us going is our power to weight ratio. if you want some torque, go with a muscle car. thye got all engine draggin along a 1000000000lb body.
