I just think the turbo I got is to big for what i want. It has .63 a/r and I'm not sure about the rest.

Yeah, i'd call and ask to be sure what you got.

What trim is the compressor? 50 trim?

What are your goals for your engine?

Hmmm....well no one ever asked me anything lol

ill_take_one: My goals are eventually for about 250-300whp and I'd like a turbo that reaches full boost before 5k. As for the trim, I have no idea. Mi .63 and A/R 60 is all I can see from looking.

If you're at the point where you can still choose your turbo, the following setup has worked well for many D series folks. I forgot his name, but someone here ran an 11.9 with it in a CRX:

.48 a/r T3 turbine housing
Stage 3 T3 turbine wheel
.60 a/r T04E compressor housing
50 trim T04E compressor wheel

If you've already got the turbo and it is a Super 60 T3, that's a nice turbo, too. Won't quite give you the power of the T04E, but it will make respectable numbers.
