stroking a block adds large torque #s, and for the low end, blower, not turbo

N/A: raise compression, don't go too far with cams, nothing bigger than 2.5" exhaust, stroker

Boost: Roots blower, a turbo that's matched to your engine. No T3/T4 hybrids.

True, but the turbo has to be on the small side so it can start to spin early.

Turbo IS a replacement for displacement in that aspect. That you can turbo a V8 doesn't change this fact.

How do you get a pipe to flow more water? You increase the pressure or you increase the diameter of the pipe. Just because you can do both doesn't mean that doing only one will not work.

but if ur able to increase both diameter AND pressure u'll get more water than just increasing one

True, but the statement "no replacement for displacement" isn't

Torque is a function of HP and RPMS or something like that.

That said, you need HP down low in the RPMs to produce the torque you're looking for:

- increase displacement
- supercharger
- get a mustang...
