Default Track time inside...

Went to the Gainesville Raceway tonight for test and tune. well my first run kinda suprised me....nasty wheel hop = shitty 60' time....however i did run through the traps at 106 mph....too bad the 1/4 time was 14.238 im guessing i didnt make it in the 13's because of traction issues and my stock clutch.....It slips really hard from 3rd to 4th at the beginning of the night after the first run...then my last run, it wouldnt hold the power....oh well, time to put in the clutchnet. anyways here is my three runs...these are on BF Shitty tires from a stock civic @ 8 psi (i decided not to run 9)

R/T .406
60' 2.528
330' 6.527
1/8 9.542
MPH 84.06
1000 12.107
1/4 14.238
MPH 106.38

R/T .683
60' 2.282
330' 6.223
1/8 9.265
MPH 82.94
1000 11.877
1/4 14.042
MPH 104.82

R/T .382
60' 2.381
330' 6.347
1/8 9.392
MPH 83.18
1000 11.989
1/4 14.203
MPH 100.32

as you can see my last run would have been kick *** except when it just slipped in fourth i just gave up, so my trap speed only hit 100....

Mase, Your trap spees is really good. That is a low 13sec run with traction.

You did better then me!!!

My best time with my HORRIBLE slipping stock clutch...

1/4- 16.6
trap- 90

From my trap speed I should have been AT LEAST in the 14's.
No launch, and no clutch mean's I'm just sitting there off the start.

Oh well

thanks guys, just a little frustrated tonight though, knowing i should be hitting 13's all day, and couldnt reach them.....i just dont go to the track often enough to be worth while to buy some slicks, next time im gonna have to borrow some...or some ****....rather use that money for some fuel management.......anyways, it was kinda fun to chase this supercharged F150. it ran a 14.2 the time i ran 14.0 got him just towards the end......it blew me away off the line though...

From what some knowledgable people have stated. LS motor with cam gears should have the intake set at 0 degrees and the exhaust gear set at -4 degrees. Just a FYI and thats what I will probably go with if I ever get cam gears.

Yah i saw you last night you have that silver teg i raced you a while ago i think over on paines prairie w/ my blue eagle talon.

You definetly need some type of drag radials or slicks you were spinning kind of bad. With that MPh you should be in the high maybe mid 13's Im sure that your car will be there soon.

i set my intake at 0 and exhaust at -2... i actually lost some hp on the dyno..not much, like 2-3, but then, it really smoothed out the graph, and didnt have that many dips.. i guess its worth it, cuz u can tottally feel it, not droping so much. have you ever dynoed you car? what chassis is your b18b in? I'm just curious because i'm heading to the track next week, and i wanna hit 13s... i've got almost everything the same as u, except mine's a revhard kit.. and its in a sol..

Its in an integra....so you should be able to pull 13's in your sol....Hey, does anyone know how hard it would be to change my clutch with hand tools, im going to take off the flywheel and have it resurfaced....a mechanic at work said it will be much easier with an impact gun.....should i do the install at work?
