Default Went to the track kind a dissappointed:

from my timeslips, what needs to be improved? the first one was at 5 psi on a built B16 motor in a 92 civic dx sedan:

First run: 5 psi / stock GSR rims w/ cheap *** federal tires

R/T ... .925
60' ... 2.476
330 ... .000
1/8 ... 9.653
MPH ... 79.94
1000 ... 12.34
1/4 ... 14.592
MPH ... 100.22

Second run 8psi:
R/T .... .733
60' ... 2.565
330 ... .000
1/8 ... 9.81
MPH .... 81.00
1000 ... 12.45
1/4 ... 14.63
MPH ... 105.19

Third run same boost level:
reaction time was .676 ,basically same 60 fts 2.607 but, 1/4 mile in 14.62 in
102. 61 MPH

Fourth run same boost level:
reaction time was .697, 60 fts 2.635 1/4 mile in 14.78 in 105.04 MPH

Seems like my MPH is up there, so you guys think with some drag radials will bring my times down to high 13's?

The first run has enough mph for a high 13 on slicks w/ perfect everything.

second run is deep into the 13s on slicks...

i would run slicks or at least use some stock blackies. your times are pretty good considering youre using 15in stock gsrs and crap tires.

How built is the engine? I would learn you launches first, then after you learn your launches, pump up the boost if your engine can handle.

Your 60' times are killing you. Get your launch down. If you could knock the 60' times down by about .2 (2.2 or 2.1 range) you'd be close to 13's right there.

ditto, add some race fuel and boost 7-8psi, you should be in the 13s easily. get slicks.

Your trap speed is definitely enough for low 13's. Those 60fts are horrid. Practice feathering the clutch a little more out of the whole and focus on improving the 60fts.

thanks guys, yeah my 60 fts are really ugly... 1st, 2nd and half of third are pretty much a smoke show... i tried feathering the clutch but as soon as the boost hits it lights up the tires, and when i try to feather it, the rpms drop so low that i pretty much loose all the built up boost! but, ill try it with some slicks and better launching techniques.

Don't be disappointed. Your mph indicates your car is kicking ***. 105 mph is big and that would put you in the 12's if you hook up properly. If your on radial tires it only gets better on a slick. Unfortunately bro your only problem on radial tires is drivers error. Your making good hp so don't sweat the et, just savour the mph until you get better tires. Once again, GOOD STUFF

Yo man you are hauling gloudimus maximus big time!! I can never understand the top end on you GS-R guys, it is simply ridiculous how fast they are especially third gear holy smokes. I agrees 100% with the above post i couldn't have said it better myself....he's right don't sweat the time because you mph says all and i guarantee you will kill most fast cars (high 12's and 13's) on the street if you get a rolling start or drop gears. Go with some slicks and try to lighten up the rear of your car to get out of the hole better you will definately hit super low 13's and possibly touch a 12 if you know how to drive that thing...

i have done 13.2 @102 (in a friends car) with 60ft of 1.9. so your MPH shows that youll definately be in the low to mid 13's.

I ran a 13.40's at 103mph on my 97 integra with 5psi, with hondata stage2b, and nitto 555r drag radials.....i say you get nice tires, and hook properly with that mph you should be like 13.3 or 13.2
