went to the track!
its been awhile since i went out to the track. my crew and i went out to sac raceway yesterday for some runs since one of my boys just slapped on a NX 50 shot set-up and a whole bunch of goodies. it was a nice cool day yesterday at the raceway... the sun was out but the delta breeze cooled things up a bit. lots of cars out at the track when i got there, which was late so i only got one run in before i had to dial-in.
my set-up:
-LS DRAG3 kit boostin 6lbs
-ACT HD 6puck clutch
-MSD external coil and dist. cap
-joe p manual boost controller
-2.5in exhaust
-weapon*R coilovers
-street tires
-full interior
-everything else is stock
out of 2 runs... my best time was 14.5! (my first run was 14.8) i think i couldve done better but i had nothing but traction problems in first and second.
Reaction: 1.001
I1: 2.275
I2: 6.278
I3: 9.478
MPH (I3): 78.497
I4: 12.205
E.T.: 14.501
MPH: 99.042
since i got a 14.8 for my first run, i dialed in at 14.7... so i was eliminated since i hit 14.5

Get some drag radials to help traction problems without spending too much on slicks. Where is the sac raceway located? I don't live too far from there and I keep hereing people run a lot better there than at sears point. Last year, all my friends ran at sears point and they ran horrible times. All imports their ran bad times.
And is there a lot of imports their? I hate seeing more domestic trash talkers than there are imports.

Yeah I hate breaking out...I was in a the quarter finals at fontana a while back and wanted to drop my dial in by .1 but I couldnt find any shoe polish so I just decided its only .1 anyhow and I lost by .04 I was so mad I didnt change it. Oh well live and learn.

Sac Raceway is located on Excelsior (i think thats how u spell it) Road, which intersects Jackson road in Sacramento. The are a lot of imports that go there, but alot more domestics. The only thing that i don't like is all the smog that comes out of the domestics. After a couple of hours of breathing up all that smog i feel pretty light headed. but overall it's a pretty nice track

actually, ive seen drag radials for cheap compared to slicks.
i would up the boost if i didnt have 135,000+ miles on my motor and the fmu/stock injectors.
sac raceway is off excelsior. you exit bradshaw. its a cool track. i like it better than sears point. lots of imports and domestics at sac.
