Default weird timing problem

I have a delsol with a gsr motor wit 9.8to1 compression, when under boost the car like bucks and pops a little bit.... its not really like detonation. Also the car will do it really bad if the distributor is 13 degress retarded..... it has to stay at 2-3 degress advanced. It can also be prevented if i only go 90% throttle instead of 100%. The cam timing is correct. I have checked it at least 10 times. Nebody have any problems like this or have a idea how to fix it? Thanx in advance

First of all whats your set-up?
Secondly 13 degrees retarded? So your only runing about 3 degrees of timing?
Are you using a good quality timing light? At 18-19 degrees of base timing your should be detonating like crazy under boost. Are you sure your not retarding the timing 2-3 degrees instead of advancing it?....
list your set-up....

94 GSR motor, 9.8to1 wiseco pistons, eagle rods and arp headstuds. the turbo set up is a equal length manifold, deltagate, garret T3T04E 57 trim, open downpipe, cartech FMU and prelude 290cc injectors. The cam gears are 2marks/4 degress advanced intake cam. and exhaust side is stock...... if i change any thing from the way it is it runs real shitty...... and im only running 8-9psi,Yes the timing is advanced now it was retarded 3 degress i didnt mean 13 sorry, Do u need to know nething else?

did it used to run good. Are you just guessing at the Cam timing? I dont think your timing should be 3 degrees advance or even retarded. I think you should be running about 11-13 degrees advance at idle.

Yea it use to run really good on 12psi, but it spiked 14 one day from a turbo XS boost controller it blow a head gasket I changed the head gasket and it was fine on 9 1/2psi but then the wastegate bracket broke off. I welded it back on, it hasnt been rite since ..... like i went to the track and ran 13.5 @ 112 before the bracket broke i was launching real easy just to get a feel for a boosted car at the track..... the i went the next friday launched a lil harder and went 13.0 at 110. Now im back to 13.5 but im cutting 2.0 sixty foot the best yet. All these times are one 9 1/2 psi

yea i heard alot of good stuff about love fabs manifolds... sfp south flordia performance? do they have a website. Also i turned my car back to 7 psi and it runs real good its just not real fast. What would change that much between 7 and 9 psi. 30psi Teg do u have any G2 integra parts for sale springs/struts, bumpers, cat backs, my freind just got a 90 LS well lemme know
