i just went out to try and start my car and it started and then like died. I started it again and it fired up but when i put it in reverse and tried to back up it would keep dropping like it was gonna die and then revn back to normal...

any idea what could cause this? I was just driving it not 1hr ago and it ran fine... it jsut seems like starting is an issue..

 

could it be the FITV

 

new cap and rotor and plugs? fies my issue every time. with a hot fire box every oil change i swapped those out too. if not i had issues.

 

all the inigtion stuff is new, inluding the dizzy itself, using bkr7e's

other ideas?

 

my mechnic removed some sensor from the intake manifold, he said it was only used for cold start and he used some aluminum to block the hole cause it was causing a vacuum leak since it was broke.

Im not sure what sensor it was but he said the diaphram was broken.

Never had any problems starting until just today- car runs fine tho after a few seconds

running hondata, tuned
