Default Weird fuel problem with Hondata

O.k., this happend after i've installed 550's rc injectors, going from 370's

while cruising on the highway, i noticed my a/f gauge started to lean out little by little until it was completely on the lean side.. than somehow later it went back to normal..

tonight, again, i get this problem, i've had this ecu for over a year - never really had problems - what could be causing this? - can't be the injectors.. it has to be ecu right?

The problem is that your tune is sufficient enough for the entire low cam fuel map. What is happening is that you are traveling through different numerical fuel values, at different vacuum readings. You are going from a lean numerical value to a stoich numerical value. You should have the partial throttle maps tuned again with a wideband on the street.

if my car runs fine one minute and then this happens, it can't be related to tuning maps.. - these values can't be altered without the software and burner..

my car is street and dyno tuned.. this seems to be something malfunctioning.. its like everything shifted to the left, inluding boost.. when this happend, it wasn't just random.. it was from very start until i restarted car later and it wans't there..

Dude, i'm having the same problems...although i started with 550 injectors. i'm gonna see if it's my O2 sensor...even though i only have about 2k miles on my new O2!! maybe it may be my 3bar map?? ****...who the hell knows!! i'm gonna eventually take it back to my tuner and have him fix it. maybe my map??!!

i thought i had the problem fixed...but it happened again tonight. damn...i'm gonna try putting 10watt 10ohm resisitors on instead of using the resistor box and i'm also gonna check out my fuel pump tomorrow. i changed fuel filter, and fuel line and got it running a tad better...i also had a problem with my spark plug wires coming loose causing some kind of cut off...kinda like a revv limiter or boost cut. ordered some new plug wires too. damn gotta fix this problem...
