weakest turbo b16 ever
I just went to the dyno to check my a/f ratio to make sure I could drive my car around without blowing it up. Wow, my car sucks! It made 170hp to the wheels at 5psi, 29hp over when it was n/a. It was 109 degrees outside and I have basically a stock exhaust but I was thinking I could at least get 180. I plan on a lot of tuning, bigger exhaust, more boost, different compressor etc. but I just wanted to make 1 pull to check my a/f ratio before messing with anything. I'm running the v-afc hack with 370 injectors and it's pretty rich.

Don't be surprised. Most bolt on turbo kits like the drag or rev hard w/ bolt - on's are lucky if they break 200whp. My friends Si with just a Rev Hard Stage 2 with the smaller t3/to4b and Apexi N1 only layed down 190whp, but 246whp after hondata tuning.

I'm running a t-3 turbo (.42/.48) but I have a .60ar compressor sitting in my carport I will be putting on soon. It's a homemade kit, drag manifold, big fmic, 2.25" downpipe.

Re: (TeStUdO)
I know the engine is pretty tired (130k) but I got a n/a baseline dyno a few weeks ago on the same dyno and it made 141hp. The a/f ratio gets as rich as 10:1 at redline, it could use some tuning.

sounds very reasonable to me. I seriously doubt it has anything to do with your engine being "tired."
Go to a 3" exhaust and bump up the boost to 10lbs, do some tuning, and it will feel like a whole new car

don't sweat it dude...that's why people call these "projects"...it takes time to get it right. My ITR was only making like 200whp (estimated) when my turbo first went in. That's only 35whp more than my NA setup. (same boat as you) I changed the fuel computer and injectors and it jump to 261whp (measured) After I got the fuel and timing tuned...(293whp) and that is still governed because my injectors can't handle it....new injectors go in this weekend, and maybe a thicker DP end of summer...looking to do like 330~350whp...that's 150 more HP than when my turbo first went in...so be patient...work out the bugs..and tuning is the key.

what do you expect? that turbo is very undersized for a b series engine, it will do alittle better with tthe 60 trim compressor though also ditch the stock exhaust

its your chrge pipes all equal diamater.. ? make sure the piping from the turbo to the intercooler is smaller to speed up the charged up in the intercooler.. then as big as you want after the intercooler
