Everything is running soo smooth and fine, but I am not fast enough! 6 pounds isnt what I expected 6 pounds to be. Everything is hooked up properly too. Maybe Im just spoiled from riding in my friends RX7. BTW I am running t3/to4e, .57 s3, .63 a/r
just a lil rant for the forced induction forum.
Anyone else feel the same?

not tuned yet, still waiting for it in the mail(hondata). Stock drag 3 fuel setup. But I will never be unhappy with the turbo spool.
My friends RX7 has a huge greddy single turbo, n1 dual exhaust, chipped ecu and other goodies.
I cannot breath in his car when he downshifts on the freeway

oh, well if hes single then im sure its very very fast.. also, cars always feel faster from the passenger seat.. Get your **** tuned and ride passenger with your RX7 friend driving, im sure youll have a huge smile.
Yeah, when I switch my profec from 7 to 10 psi, it feels like a huge difference. Only real way to find out is to take it to the dyno and see though. Then you know how powerful it actually is no matter how it feels.

im scared once i get my boost controller in the mail imma crank it to 8. Can I do this? I cant even go 30 seconds without hitting at least 1 psi on my gauge
Does 8 psi really feel completly different than 6?
Thanks for you inputs, even though this is really tech question.

If it were me, I'd wait for the hondata. I personally wouldn't want to risk anything, but plenty of people boost 8 with a fmu I guess. And yeah, it feels like a really big difference with just a few psi, at least in my experience.
Yeah, if anything with the Hondata you'll be rich except at full throttle/high rpms. At that point you'll be about right. That is how my Hondata is right now anyway, since it is untuned. I seem to be going through more fuel though since I like staying at that full throttle/ high rpms range!
Its your turbo.
It will make almost no power at 6-8psi.
maybe 8-10 it will pick up A LOT.
2 examples:
B18C same turbo as you, 6psi makes 220whp, 9psi makes 290whp
B18C 60-1 turbo, 7psi makes 210whp, 10psi makes 320whp
Its all about the efficiency range of the turbo.

of course you will be unhappy with your results, you are comparing it to a tt rx7!!! with a boost controller, 3" dp and exhaust, these cars are capable of running 12's easily. All you need to do is a little more engine mods and you can turn your boost up then. i would not recommend boosting any more then 8psi on stock internals. run any more and youll be asking for problems. as for now, your gsr should be around a high 13 to mid 14sec car, which even though you are unhappy will smoke PLENTY of people on the roads. have fun boosting

When I had my turbo at 5psi, it didnt feel very fast, but when I turned it up to 8.5 psi, it felt pretty fast, but still not fast enuff. I guess when you spend so much money on a turbo setup, you'd expect a lot from it. But when you expect a lot, you only end up to be disappointed.

well like I said above, my friends rx7 is not TT anymore . He upgraded the turbo to a big single greddy turbo kit. I am expectiing to much with my current settings on my gsr. Im just going to wait till I get tuned on a dyno with my hondata so I can turn it to 9 psi.
