Default Wastegate Spring Question

I bought a 44mm tial wastegate with a 1 bar spring but i need a .7 bar spring. My friend has a 38mm tial wastegate with a .7 bar spring. Can i put a 38mm spring in my 44mm wastegate? Aren't they universal? Just making sure
Thanks,
Dan

Default Re: Wastegate Spring Question (GSROWNSU)

Looking at the PDF's on Tials website for the springs in the 38mm and 44mm wastegates, it looks like yours has a Large Green + Small Yellow spring, and your friends has a Large Yellow spring. So swapping springs would leave you at 0.6 bar and your friend at 1.15 bar.
