newbie ? about boost and break in
i have a d16z6 that has just been rebuilt with vitara's and eagle rods and hasnt been set in the car yet but what i wanna know is should i wait to have my turbo kit put on till after the inital break in? thanks for the help in advance

It depends on whether or not you subscribe to the "go easy on it for a while" or the "break it in like its going to be driven" method. There's a lot of good information in this thread by Earl on engine break-in:

If you plan on having it dyno-tuned right away, I'd say throw the turbo kit on and either tow it to the dyno or get a good basemap from your tuner to drive there on.
If you're going to just be street tuning it and you have a pretty good idea of what you're doing, you could throw the turbo kit on and start going, just make sure you put the engine through some heat cycles with before you start beating on it.
