Wastegate releasing pressure at idle

Icon5 Wastegate releasing pressure at idle

Ok it all started with my BOV no releasing pressure. so i went checked all my vacuum they all seem good. so now i was thinking what else it could be. i see that my wastegate is letting pressure out at idle and all the way trought the RPM's is this normal? any help?

make sure the fire ring on the wg is installed right.

ok ok ill check it after work. also i switched the vacuum soucre yesterday from my distrbution block to the nipple off the turbo and my car just died out? should that happen? i heard you could hook it up to that source.

It shouldn't, thats where mine has been plugged in since day one. Unless you didnt plug the nipple on the distribution block

what kind of wastegate is it?

no i do not have the turbo nipple teed off in to the distrubution block if thats what you mean? thats what i thought. but when i started the car after switching the lines back the IAC was all off giving the fluxuating idle. fire ring? what is that. the ring around the vavle?

i have a cheap ebay waste gate. i kinda think that may have somthing to do with it

is it that the gasket? the fire ring?
