Default Quick question about Tial wastegate

Hooking up a friends Tial 35mm wastegate with a manual boost controller. Just to double check before everything is started up:

1. Side port goes to boost source with vac line
2. Top port gets boost controller vac line to top port, but then tapped into what?

Thanks

I ran into this problem awhile ago.. Using the MBC u want to put the Boost controller IN LINE with the side port.. U will want to leave the top port on the wastegate open.. if your turbo has a port on the side u want to plug that and run your vacum lines to an intake manifold pressure source..

what are the advantages again of running the wg sideport to the IM instead of the turbo?

Boost will be more stable and you'll have less perceived lag.

Thanks a ton guys. I was actually fighting with him to hook it up only to the side port, but he said that he KNEW the top port must be used. I just wanted to see who was right. Hopefully i can get him up and boosted tonight!
